The Star Wars Zero Company release date was August 27, 2026, when the game launched for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. It is available now rather than in early access, and the PC release is sold through Steam, the EA app, and the Epic Games Store. There was no separately announced staggered launch for the supported consoles.

Confirmed worldwide release date

EA and the official platform listings all identify August 27, 2026 as the release date. That date supersedes older preview articles that described only a 2026 window or used speculative placeholder dates. If a search result still says “coming in 2026,” check when it was published before treating it as current launch information.

Digital storefront timing can vary by account region, platform, and local time zone even when the official date is shared. A preload becoming available early does not mean the full game has released, and a physical delivery arriving late does not alter the published launch date. Use the purchase history or library page for your own account if the game remains locked after the regional unlock.

Platforms available at launch

Zero Company launched on Windows PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The PC version is listed on the EA app, Steam, and Epic Games Store, giving players a choice of launcher and store account. All listed versions are built around the same single-player campaign, although platform-specific achievements, controller behavior, and technical settings differ.

No PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, or Nintendo Switch 2 release was announced by EA as of August 29, 2026. Store pages or reseller listings for those systems should not be considered confirmation. Our platform guide separates officially supported systems from unannounced ports.

Standard and Deluxe launch editions

The Standard Edition includes the complete base campaign. The Deluxe Edition adds the Grand Army of the Republic Cosmetic Pack, Shadow Collective Cosmetic Pack, and five painted weapon themes, but it does not advertise an exclusive story chapter or additional Operator. Players who start with Standard can buy the Deluxe Upgrade separately on supported digital stores.

Edition pricing depends on region, currency, and storefront. At the time of our August 29 check, the US Xbox listing showed the Standard Edition at $59.99, the Deluxe Edition at $69.99, and the Deluxe Upgrade at $9.99, but sales and regional taxes can change those amounts. Compare the live store page rather than treating launch pricing as permanent.

Collector's Edition schedule

Limited Run Games opened preorders for a physical Collector's Edition priced at $299.99 on its US listing. Its preorder window was scheduled to close on September 13, 2026 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time, and the product was marked as being in pre-production. That makes the collector package a limited preorder product, not a standard launch-day retail edition sitting on every store shelf.

Limited Run says console games are expected to ship ahead of the remaining Collector's Edition contents. PC buyers receive the base game and Deluxe Upgrade as emailed digital codes rather than a PC disc. Read the Collector's Edition guide for the complete contents, battery requirement, and current fulfillment wording.

Early access and preload questions

The official edition descriptions do not advertise a permanent early-access period as part of the Deluxe Edition. Any preload window was intended to download files before launch, not provide extra campaign content or a different version of the game. After August 27, both Standard and Deluxe owners are playing the released game.

If a store still displays a preorder bonus after launch, inspect the transaction details before assuming it is included. Retail bonuses can be platform-, region-, or purchase-date-specific and should not be confused with the two named Deluxe cosmetic packs. The safest comparison is the exact “included in this edition” list shown during checkout.

What launched with the game

The release includes the complete single-player tactical campaign, custom commander Hawks, authored Operators, Bonds, Cross Training, base management at The Den, Operations, difficulty settings, and optional Permadeath and Beskar Mode. It is not presented as an episodic first chapter. Future updates may adjust balance or performance, but the launch product already contains the core campaign loop.

EA's store information also identifies Bit Reactor as the developer and Electronic Arts as the publisher. The game carries Star Wars branding under Lucasfilm Games, but this site is an independent wiki and is not an official EA or Lucasfilm service. Languages and regional listings

Steam lists support for 11 languages, but interface, subtitles, and full audio are separate columns and should not be assumed identical. A language available in menus or subtitles may not include a complete voice track. Check the language table for your exact storefront and platform before purchasing for a multilingual household.

Regional product pages can also use different ratings, currencies, taxes, and edition availability. A US launch price does not promise the same amount in Europe, Asia, or another console region. The release date is global, while the transaction and content-code rules remain account-specific.

Physical and digital access

Digital buyers can install after the store grants the license and the regional release lock has cleared. Console physical editions require the correct supported console and, for a disc, a drive that can read it. Xbox Series S players therefore need a digital entitlement even though the Series X|S platform family is supported.

The Limited Run Collector's Edition uses its own production and shipping schedule, so the full physical box was not a normal August 27 delivery. PC game codes and console-game shipments may be handled separately from the remaining collectibles. Choose a normal digital copy when immediate access matters more than the collector package.

Official release sources

The August 27 date and supported systems are confirmed by the official EA game page, Steam store listing, and the corresponding PlayStation and Xbox listings. SteamDB app 2075800 can be useful for historical package data, but it is not the publisher's product page and may present automated or region-dependent records. This page was verified on August 29, 2026 and will date any later catalog changes.
