Tel-Rea Vokoss does not use the ordinary eight-Specialization structure. Her progression begins with Padawan and develops into Wayseeker, and her Strong With the Force talent starts turns with Harmony that supports the lightsaber attacks and deflection central to her role. Build her around controlling where a fight happens, not only around the nearest attack.

The Epic Games Store's editorial operator guide recommends investing in Padawan Training and Force Push early, then developing Wayseeker with Force Pull before treating Lightsaber Throw as the priority. The practical idea is to create a two-way positioning tool: pull a dangerous enemy out of safety or toward a group, then push targets into an ally's area attack, away from an objective, or out of cover.

That role makes Tel-Rea especially valuable when the squad already has a reliable finisher or area attack that benefits from grouped targets. Do not Push or Pull simply because the abilities are available; first decide where the enemy will end the turn, which Operator follows up, and whether Tel-Rea will still have a safe position after acting.

Build priorities

  1. Learn the control loop. Use Force Pull and Force Push to change target position for a concrete follow-up, not for visual movement with no squad benefit.
  2. Preserve Harmony value. Plan the turn around the Force and lightsaber actions that Harmony improves, rather than spending AP until the passive no longer matters.
  3. Bring an area or cleanup partner. A Soldier, Gunslinger, Jae, or another Operator with a ready follow-up can turn enemy grouping into a decisive turn.
  4. Protect the landing space. A Force-control play that leaves Tel-Rea inside several enemy sightlines can trade one good setup for an avoidable Injury.

Patch 1.1: why this build needs a version label

EA's Patch 1.1 fixes Tel-Rea Force attacks displaying incorrect damage values with bonuses, applying Ranged Damage Cross Training twice, and failing to add Critical Damage bonuses correctly. Those corrections make pre-patch damage comparisons unreliable for the affected actions. They do not by themselves prove that Force Push, Force Pull, or Wayseeker is universally the best route.

Use the current UI and controlled tests when comparing a talent or equipment interaction. If a guide gives an exact pre-1.1 number, treat it as historical until it is reproduced on the current patch. Her hero mission note also records a separate mission-completion correction.
