Build Cly Kullervo in Star Wars Zero Company with Warrior and Scout, ElectroWeb priorities, Advantage budgeting, squad partners and a practical turn plan.

For a dependable Star Wars Zero Company Cly Kullervo build, keep Warrior and add Scout when a second Specialization is available. Prioritize an affordable ElectroWeb Dart, then invest in Surge when your squad can fund the whole setup. Cly works best when you plan the shared Advantage pool before using other Operators' ultimates.

Pick the build for your squad's bottleneck

Your problemBuild choiceFirst change to make
Cly has targets but no AdvantageWarrior / ScoutUse Combat Recon to fund her control actions before spending on damage
The squad already generates enough AdvantageWarrior / GunslingerInvest in weapon follow-up instead of duplicating a support role
You have enough resources for only one expensive upgradeWarrior core firstChoose the action you actually use each encounter; leave a situational upgrade for later

These are editorial recommendations, not a damage ranking. Review the current rank's cost in Personnel before committing Focus.

Skill priorities and what they solve

  1. ElectroWeb Dart: establish linked targets. The extracted ability record identifies a movement-slowing Shock effect and the link to Surge. Prefer a threatening enemy that other squad members cannot remove safely.
  2. ElectroWeb Surge: invest once you can consistently set up linked targets. Its ability record describes blasts around Cly and darted enemies that ignore Defense. Position those blast centers before triggering it.
  3. Combat Recon / Tactical Timing: use Scout to support the Advantage budget. Prioritize the reliable setup action when one missed opportunity would ruin the turn; treat chance-based generation as a bonus.
  4. Combat Jump: use it to improve the attack position or objective access. A landing beside several enemies needs a cleanup or protection plan.

A practical turn sequence

  1. Identify the enemies that will still threaten the objective after your ordinary blaster attacks.
  2. Read the costs of Dart, Jump and Surge at your current ranks. Add them together before using any of them.
  3. Generate the missing Advantage with an available Scout. Reserve the amount Cly needs; do not spend it on another ultimate first.
  4. Apply Darts to useful blast centers. Jump only if the new position adds value and your squad can protect it.
  5. Trigger Surge, then use Cly's remaining weapon actions on survivors. Recheck the battlefield rather than following a fixed button order after a kill.

Loadout and partners

Choose weapon Mods that improve the attack you can reliably take after her setup: accuracy for poor firing lanes, damage when an extra hit would cross a kill threshold. Carry a recovery Utility if moving forward separates Cly from the Medic.

Tel-Rea can reposition enemies; a Scout Hawks can supply setup; Jae helps clean up low-health survivors. If the map spreads enemies too widely, let Luco remove a distant threat instead of forcing an expensive Surge setup.

Why the combo sometimes falls apart

The most common planning error is budgeting only Surge while forgetting the Darts and optional Jump. Another is moving into a group before confirming that the squad can finish it. On a sparse map, use the control and weapon parts of the build separately; a smaller safe turn can be better than an ambitious burst.
